An Artist’s Inspiration with Corvus

I want to start out by saying that if you have an extra L90, this nicely-made leather jacket from Corvus, and available at Perfect Wardrobe, is well worth the price. I usually fine one or two gems each session of Perfect Wardrobe, and I definitely consider this jacket this round’s diamond…so much so that I also bought it in black and white. It’s very versatile, and fits well over other mesh items, which can be difficult to find without having to wear hugely differing mesh sizes, and who really wants to look like a linebacker? I included a couple of shirts I had lying around in my inventory underneath the jacket for a nice casual feel, especially when I added my all-time favorite jeans from Maitreya. This little mesh art cabin (ony 5 LI) is available from Scarlet Creative, along with many of her other well made mesh builds.

Cute Lil Skirt

 

Just a quick post because I love this skirt so much. It’s cute, flirty and sexy. You can wear it with almost anything, which is an option I adore in clothing. I paired it with an adorable crop top from Sn@tch done in the “old style” of system clothing layers. Along with long flowing locks from Truth (yes, I toned down the saturation in the pics, so the hair is normally more blue), I felt ready to do some serious observing from my position perched safely against the wall. Observing what, you might ask. Pretty much observing people just TPing into and out of the sim. It wasn’t really a hopping place, but it was a good location for photos, so I dealt with the only occasional shadow of someone else in  my picture frame. 🙂 At least there were no inane or vulgar IM’s this time around, so that was a plus.

Sometimes Only Prims Work

I know that I have said over and over again that I am a pure mesh junkie, however, there are some things that only work with prims, and this lovely skirt is one of them. When I saw it, from Connors, on the MP, I had to have it, and it completely lived up to my expectations. It’s pretty, summery and pure feminine floatiness (yeah, I know…that’s not really a word…but it fits). I’m  not overly enthusiastic about the top, and I’ll probably pair the skirt, in the future, with some of my cute mesh tanks from Sn@tch, but for this post, I wanted to include that entire outfit as it comes out of the box. It just felt like the perfect outfit for a seaside stroll on a warm summer day. It makes me feel all pretty and girly, and sometimes that’s a feeling you just need to feel. You’ll also be seeing  a LOT of these sandals from Redgrave, as they are now my favorite go-too shoes for summerwear…until another favorite comes along, anyway.

Tonight, I have more for you from FaMESHed and V.e. I think this is one of the cutest oufits, evah! Fun, flirty, girly and a tad sexy, all rolled into one. I’ve been wearing it for two days, and that’s unusual for me. Since I recently was paid for some modelling work I did for V-Twins magazine, which was unexpected as it was a fun thing for me to do, plus…free clothes, ya’ll!…I’m thinking I need to get back to FaMESHed and pick up another color or two of this outfit. I ❤ it so much. I also picked up some cute peep-toe sandals from Etchaflesh, another favorite store, and I thought they paired up well with the whole look. The shoes were easy to match to my skin and had me kicking up my heels in true style! If I didn’t have such a bloated inventory full of great clothes, I’d probably never take this one off!

Rayna From Amacci at The Skin Fair

 

I debated with myself for quite a while before I finally caved and hit the Skin Fair in it’s last hours to snatch up this skin from Amacci. Actually, this skin ended up being a gift from my friend, MisterBlues, but it still brings the total of my haul from this year’s skin fair to 5 skins, 1 in 2 different tones. I did manage to resist the lure of fatpacks, and stuck to single skin purchases in the cleanest versions. I love the versatility of using different make-up combos, which is why a viewer with multiple tattoo layers is a MUST for me.

For me, this skin just wanted so much to be dressed up in rocker style, so I had to hit up the Marketplace and snap up this cute top and skirt from Corvus:
