Silks!

 

I’m not normally one for silks, but I love this set from Solange. If you’re going to buy silks, I can’t think of anywhere better to get them. Her designs are impeccable, and that they come with Tangos Appliers is a huge plus. I love how soft the silk looks on this set. Everything fit perfectly, with barely any adjustments needed. Which is always lovely and welcome!

New Mesh From Zaara

One of my favorite stores has finally, finally, finally released new mesh, and this dress is absolutely to die for. A cute mini dress with a biased cut sheer overlay is absolutely perfect for this time of year. It’s available in solid and print textures, and is perfect for an afternoon picnic, a trip to the city or even an evening of dancing. I might just have another post today, because ColdLogic has released some really cute things for Spring, too. There’s also one waiting in the wings I snapped yesterday, but when I saw the dress from Zaara, the other outfit had to wait.

Home Sweet Home

 

 

Yesterday, I promised some shots of my current home in SL. I had been using the Snacksize home from Creative Decay, when last week while deleting a rug, I made the noob mistake of deleting half of my home. You would think that after all these years, I would learn to immediately “lock” the location and structure of any home I’m using so this doesn’t happen. *sigh* I can’t tell you how many times I’ve clicked on “delete” and realized that half, or all, of my home is gone…just like that. After making that mistake for the umpteenth time, I decided that rather than re-rez and re-position everything in that home again, I would check my inventory to see what else I have available. That was when I found the Ease home from Inside, http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Recouster/174/113/37. It’s a cute little home, suitable for one or two avatars, with enough space to move around. For winter, my home had been decorated in earth colors. Everything was coordinated in black, brown and white. With the coming warm weather (fingers crossed), I decided to add some splashes of color to this new home. I don’t have the links for everything, because some of these things were just pulled out of inventory, and a couple of plants were purchased on the MP. I also heavily modded what I could, including the textures of the home itself because I prefer stone and brick over wood and “siding”. This post is mainly for showing off my little virtual space:

Celebrating A Hope-For Spring

Hi, Readers. Just a quick post this evening. When I saw these petals from RunoRuno on a couple of blogs, I coveted them to the nth degree. It took a couple of weeks, but I was able to pick them up today, and promptly found a nice quiet spot on the water to take some artsy, dramatic photos representing my need for some pretty Spring weather. I didn’t actually do much editing with these. I used the ElysiumEilde Golden Sky windlight setting, and then just a couple of small slider adjustments in PicMonkey to adjust color and contrast and add some softness to the images. I really like the result and I hope you do, too.:

Just a Cute Lil Dress From LIv Glam

Just a quick post to show off this really cute mesh dress and jacket from Liv Glam. I noticed tonight that Liv Glam is taking up a big chunk of my inventory. They’re items are cute and fashionable, and always reasonably priced. I was a little confused with my first purchase from there…I looked for a folder or box and instead only found a HUD. It took my addled brain a few minutes to figure out that I needed to click on the mesh size on the HUD to have that size of the outfit delivered to my inventory. Very  nice way to keep from having ALL of those extra mesh sizes which, if you’re anything like me (and for your sake, I hope you’re not), you keep thinking that someday you might change your shape enough to wear the extra 4 ‘standard’ sizes of mesh in that folder. Okay. That’s probably just me. Which is why I find Liv Glam’s HUD method of delivery super convenient.

Maai Gown With Tango Appliers!!

 

Ahem.

I shared only ONE of my addictions with you yesterday, I must admit. Another one I’m rapidly developing is loving to show off my added curves when I’m wearing my Lola’s Tangos or Lush mesh breasts. They’re great for taking photos. Everything stays smooth…as “they” should. With all of my favorite skin creators now adding skin appliers, matching with you skin is literally just 2 clicks! I DID resist the boob-job lure for a long time, but gradually any objections (okay, $L0 was my main “objection”, plus, no demo. Um…something I wanted to be cautious about) I had disappeared, and I’m now a very, VERY proud owner of both Tangos and Lush.

When I discovered Maai’s gowns while perusing the Marketplace, I was immediately “Whoa!”, Gorgeous partial-mesh gown with Tango Appliers??!! See! I keep telling people there IS a God! I did have to put a stop to myself when I seemed to be stuck clicking on “add to cart”. I reluctantly emptied my cart of all but THIS gown, to start off. The other lovelies are “favorites”, for now. But sometime soon, my greedy little heart will get what it wants!
