Yes, it’s Dead Dollz, again!

Let me be redundant and state again…I am about to empty my “formalwear” folders of everything except gowns from Dead Dollz, and her newest one, called Il Lungo Addio is no exception. The detailing on this gown is gorgeous beyond words. It’s a tube gown, and has 2 alpha choices, so you can show off some cute shoes, or not show your feet at all. Which was the option I chose. it just makes life easier. She offers 3 packs…2 with HUDs which each offer 3 color choices and a fatpack with a HUD for all choices. You can choose gold, black, silver, pink, red or white. The strapless bodice is sweet and sexy, and the lovely embroidered detailing at the top and bottom will have you drooling! It perfectly shows off every slinky curve of your body, making you feel 100% woman. The textured folds give it a natural feel and it’s rigged well so that it moves perfectly with you as you walk.

If you’re a lover of formal gowns, and just want to feel sexy and womanly all at once, please try a demo of this gown as soon as you can. Kiddo Oh has outdone herself with this one, and I didn’t think that was possible.

Another gorgeous gown from Dead Dollz!

I’m starting to think I might as well just trash all of my other gowns, especially if Kiddo Oh continues to make such gorgeous mesh gowns at Dead Dollz. This gown is absolutely TO DIE FOR! The lace is exquisite, and I love the sheer panel over the belly, and the fact that Kiddo includes a HUD so you can change the skin tone to find a match for your’s. The lovely mermaid skirt is intricately designed with impressive detailing at the bottom. I’m impressed with the sweet lace collar trimmed in black roses and more pearls. The total effect of this gown is stunning, elegant and sweetly beautiful. Trust me…if you wear this gown to your next night out at Frank’s Place, or wherever you go when you feel like being formal, you will be the talk of the dance floor. I’m quite sure you will be able to watch the other ladies melt with envy the moment you sashay into the room. If you have a date, the other men will burn with jealousy and if you arrive single, you won’t be for long. So, if you’ve been looking for that perfect gown, Ladies, look no further than Dead Dollz.

Sometimes Only Prims Work

I know that I have said over and over again that I am a pure mesh junkie, however, there are some things that only work with prims, and this lovely skirt is one of them. When I saw it, from Connors, on the MP, I had to have it, and it completely lived up to my expectations. It’s pretty, summery and pure feminine floatiness (yeah, I know…that’s not really a word…but it fits). I’m  not overly enthusiastic about the top, and I’ll probably pair the skirt, in the future, with some of my cute mesh tanks from Sn@tch, but for this post, I wanted to include that entire outfit as it comes out of the box. It just felt like the perfect outfit for a seaside stroll on a warm summer day. It makes me feel all pretty and girly, and sometimes that’s a feeling you just need to feel. You’ll also be seeing  a LOT of these sandals from Redgrave, as they are now my favorite go-too shoes for summerwear…until another favorite comes along, anyway.

To all of my American readers, I hope you’re enjoying your holiday weekend, and don’t forget that it’s not just about cookouts and family time, but a time to honor those who have fought for, and paid the price for, the freedoms that we enjoy. The Liaison Collaborative

 

It’s time for a new edition of The Liaison Collaborative and there are some really nice things there this time around. This gorgeous dress is from Rebel Hope, and I personally love the texturing on their mesh. I think it’s some of the loveliest I’ve seen, and this pretty, sexy little mini dress is no exception. Available in several different colors, it’s plunging neckline certainly doesn’t deter from it’s elegance. The hair from [e], which is NEW is also available as are IKON’s newest line of eyes, his Destiny eyes. The lovely ice-pick heel sandals are from Redgrave, and like most of Redgrave shoes comes with a customization HUD, which gives you a choice of 10 colors for the shoes and heel as well as a couple of different metal options and toenail polish options. I was really pleased with my “haul” from Liaison, so if you haven’t been yet, I hope you check it out very soon.

I recently started a part-time work-at-home job as a recruiter, so my posts may become a bit more sporadic. I’m also soon joining the team, in Second Life, which owns and designs for Culprit as their PR person so Shiloh is soon going to be a very busy girl. Just a quick post to show another cute buy from my visit to the World Goth Fair. If you haven’t been there yet, I urge you to go. Even if “goth” is not your preferred style, there is still plenty there to appeal to almost anyone. I love this dress and it’s available in a variety of colors. The texturing is very unique and the bias cut adds a cute flirty feel to it. I’m planning on getting back there soon to pick up a few more things, but this was one that I specifically went for and was happy to get.

I really like this cute outfit from Ducknipple. The dress, collar and shoes are all sold separately at their shop at the 100 Block Event, but each come with a HUD and choice of many colors, so you can even mix and match. Everything is mesh, which I also love. The cut of the dress is gorgeous, and the texturing is really well done. With all the different color options, I can see this quickly becoming one of my favorite outfits.

100 Block Event

 

I was going to do another post from World Goth Fair, but when I ran into my lovely friend, Orc, at Glam Affair (who, by the way, now has appliers for both SLink hands and feet), she told me about the 100 Block Event, and of course, I had to TP right over. I went through about half of it before my computer protested and SL froze, which was probably best. My inventory probably told the computer to act up and save the inventory. I picked up this cute little low-slung skirt from Red Mint at the Event, where I also purchased this very pretty hair, which, handily, has fit for LOLA Tangos as well as a “normal” fit. The cute jewelry set is also from 100 Block Event. I was quite pleased with the whole look, enough so that it warranted a 2nd blog post today.

World Goth Fair, #1

I visited the World Goth Fair 2 nights ago, and I must say that I was highly impressed with both the builds and the lovely lack of lag. In my experience, fairs are lag-fests, and I usually wait a week to go to cut down on attempting to wade through the “sludge”, but I experienced very little to no lag at WGF, and the sims were far from empty. This, people, is how you do a fair.

I had seen this make-up, which also comes with a lip optioin, on Flickr, by Shyntae Demonista and PMD and knew I immediately had to have it. The dress from MV was a perfect accompaniment and I totally gothed it out for this look. The skin is lovely, and FREE…yes, FREE, from Tuty’s and you get many different options. I think it’s the best bargain I’ve ever ‘bought’ in a free skin, and I use it often for goth or dark looks. My slinky, SLink thigh highs completed the look and I was in goth-heaven. Hell? Either way, Mad Pea Carnivale was the perfect setting for this dark look

At The Beach In Blueberry

I’m still feeling in a summery mood, I guess. I suppose because it’s been such a cool and rainy Spring, overall, in my neck of the woods. I’m going to have a talk with that groundhog if I ever meet the little critter. He predicted an early Spring for the first time in years, and he was wrong. It’s the first time in years we haven’t had an early Spring, as a matter of fact. So, because of that, I long for a warm sun on my face, ocean breezes wafting my hair and sand between my toes. This cute summery dress from Blueberry is perfect for that kind of mood. it’s a biased-cut strapless mesh dress adorned with delicate little flowers. Available in quite a few different textures, 6 I believe, it really is nice to wear for a walk on the beach. You could also accessorize it with a cute hat and sunglasses and it would work just as well for a stroll along city streets. I, however, chose to just wear my Gos Boutique flip-flops for ultimate comfort.

Bad Girls Go To Pandemonium

 

Another quick one. When I did the white outfit post, I immediately thought to myself “But, where do bad girls go?”, and decided I needed to find out. To do that, I once again got in touch with my *darker* side and put together this slightly gothic look which includes this super-cute dress I picked up at Acid Lily Gallery 2 nights ago. You really should check them out. It’s a small store, and not well-known, but they have some cute things for cheap prices. While I’ll admit that most, if not all, is template mesh, they do some unique texturing, and this very emo dress was no exception. Paired with my cute Phoebe boots from Lassitude & Ennui, I jetted over the the Melancholy Sim where Pandemonium is located. It’s a great place, and although the build has changed since the last time I was there, it’s a nice place for “dark” photos or just to look around.
